A few things I learned while in UT

1. Addison knows how to get out of the playpen...yeah that sucked!! That first night we both didn't get much sleep.

2. My kids can go for a pretty long time in the car without killing each other. We drove straight through both times.

3. I dearly miss my family!!

4. I miss the mountains. I think I knew that before but it is more apparent when you are there with them.

5. I have the best in laws in the world!!

6. I miss Grammy!!

7. Addison hates strangers and was possessed with a crazy girl for the week.

8. I suck at playing games, I still demand a rematch for Ticket to Ride....I lost EVERY time!!

9. Miss living so close to the temple. (we were able to go do a session, some sealings and come back all in 3 hours....it was amazing!!)

10. I eat way too much junk when I am not at home. (Treats after dinner every night is a recipe for disaster!!)

Not sure

Jeff's parents have chickens and the kids LOVE to go and see them. While we were there they pulled them out multiple times. Addison was so funny!! She was not sure about them, but then was so intrigued with them at the same time.

Parker thought it was hilarious to chase Addison around with the chicken, she would scream and run. It was funny to watch!

The luckiest unlucky guy I know

So my next few posts are kind of out of order. Life has been chaotic since I have been back and I want to write all about our crazy trip to UT but I also wanted to post this because it is crazy!! Most of you know about Jeff's accident last year, well we came out to his truck a few weeks ago and found this.

Yep, he was rear ended and it was a hit and run. They were going so fast that they moved his big truck about 8 feet down the road. I am just happy that he was not in the truck but really isn't he the luckiest unlucky guy around?? I am just glad that we didn't have to pay for it and his work has been amazing!!! They have already gotten it fixed.

"buboos"

My little Addison loves bubbles and she calls them buboos...so cute. My mom found the coolest thing! It screws on top of the bubbles and then she can use her "buboos" and not spill them. I really am just posting these for my mom. We got to see them last week while we were in UT and it was fun to see them!! Addison didn't love it so much (more about that to come) but Parker really loved it!!! Thanks mom!!!

Fun in the Sun

It was pretty warm here yesterday. In the 90s and Parker convinced us to get the slip and slide out. After he went down it a couple of times he was cold but he had fun anyway. Addison was so funny to watch. She had a ball. Summer is going to be so much fun with her!!! I just love this little thing!!! (remember that you can click on the photos to make them bigger!!)

Noah's Ark??

For FHE Parker had the treats and so he had me cut up the fruit and we pulled down the old Valentines Candy and we went to town building. Parker was a little perfectionist and it took him about 20 minutes to do his. I did the classic smiley face and Jeff's was the funniest. He did Noah's Ark and it took him about 10 seconds...and then he said that the wind was bad around his ark and was trying to knock down Parker's. It was hilarious!!!

This is Noah's Ark, he is such a goon!!!

Not much going on today, but I have some photos to share. These are by far the cutest ones of them together. I scrapped them already and so I am going to post that. ENJOY!!

Our Little Gardener

Addison is my little sidekick when I am outside working in the yard. I have been trying really hard to learn more about gardening and also working on our flower beds in the backyard. Thanks to Jeff's help I was able to get our ugly bushes out and put in raspberries. In the background of the pics you can see some of our work, it looks really good. We are putting in a border along the edge of the flower bed and that is my favorite part, it looks great!!! We will see how they do in our weather. I am excited. Anyway, Addison saw me with some gloves and then went and found these gloves and was trying her best to help. It was so darn cute!! I wish that I could have gotten a better pic, she was just not looking at me, she had work to do!!

On the Hunt...

Easter was pretty laid back here, the Easter Bunny sent the kids on a scavenger hunt for their Easter baskets and Parker thought that was pretty fun. They also got to go on go on a hunt in the backyard. Addison got about 4 eggs and then realized that there was candy inside and that was enough for her. That meant that Parker got the rest. He was pretty happy about that. We really enjoyed conference and the kids did pretty good considering they had to sit for quite a while. We hope that you all had a great Easter!!

Some of you figured it out

Okay so you figured me out. This is my big April Fool's joke. I was trying to get my mom again. Not sure that I did, I didn't hear from her. I got her good last year. I put on our blog that we were moving to Australia and were moving in 3 months. It would be really nice. But didn't happen. She wouldn't talk to me for days. And she told everyone she knew about it. So I was just hoping to get her again. She did not like my last one at all. Mom, if your reading this....this is where you laugh!! LOL!!! Love you!!

Another one on the way!!!

Jeff has been pushing for another baby and I just don't feel like I am ready. I feel like I still have a baby. But I have to remind myself that she is 19 months old. She is not a baby anymore. But I cannot stop the news that came today. It is happening whether I like it or not. Yep you read it right, we are expecting our third. I should really be more happy about the whole thing. Mom I am sure that you are so ecstatic. But you will have to come to Midland to see our new bundle of joy. I went and got an ultra sound and see there is no denying it. That is me 5 weeks along.
