First day of Kindergarten...

Well we survived!! He was so excited this morning and could not hold still. He got to wear new clothes and the shoes he picked out weeks ago, they light up and everything. We went over to the school and I walked him in and I could tell he was nervous. He asked when I would be back and then asked where he needed to sit. He gave me a hug and then sat down and that was it. Something kind of weird that they do is they serve the kids breakfast, if you call a pop-tart and juice breakfast. I am just glad that I made pancakes for breakfast and Parker had a full belly. The good news is that I didn't cry, nope not once. I thought that I might. It was a little weird not to have him here all day. The house sure was quiet and Addison had two uninterrupted naps. (that rarely happens) The time came to pick him up and can we say complete chaos....the cars were everywhere and not organized at all. I finally parked the car and went and walked to pick him up. I was tired of waiting. I could tell Parker was excited to see me. He gave his teacher a hug and we were off. He was anxious to tell me all about his day. He says he can't wait to go tomorrow. The only thing he didn't like was that I sent him lunch. He says he wants to eat school lunch. I sure can tell he has been in a cube all day, he has TONS of energy and is outside playing as I write. Here's to a successful year!!!!

Addison's new love...

I found this video the other day of Addison. She loved this bike at the science spectrum. Enjoy!!! By the way, not sure why is shows Addison walking at first...oh well!!!

Ready, set, aim....

The Midland Fire House had an open house on Saturday and we went over and a great time. They had loads of info for parents and lots of activities for the kids. Parker really enjoyed the target practice and the smoke house. He also loved having his new little buddy Porter there. They had a great time!! We got to see the "Jaws of Life" and that really made me think about Jeff's accident and what it must have been like. We sure are glad to have him here and without them it would have been alot harder to get him out of the car.

Yes, I made that!!

I have been needing to fulfill my "Pay it Forward" post and my sister is one of the people that is a recipient. So I have been quite the sewer lately. (so not like me at all!!) I found this pattern for these and fell in love with them. They are little crayon totes. They hold 8 crayons and a pad of paper and an extra pocket for stickers or something. I loved making them and I think they turned out very cute!! Parker LOVES it!! He has slept with it for two days now and even took it to church today. I am just glad that it kept him busy for all of Stake Conference. He takes it EVERYWHERE!! It will be perfect for traveling and for doctors offices and stuff like that. I just hope that my sisters kids like them. And you other two recipients your stuff is coming soon. I have not forgotten about you, I promise!! I have been trying to figure out what to send and I think I figured it out.

Who did it??

Tonight as I was putting Parker in bed I left Addison with Jeff. That may have been a mistake. He was playing a computer game and she began to wander. I found her in the kitchen. This is what I found. I told Jeff he had to clean it up. What is funny is that he went in the kitchen and she ran out. She was not going to claim that one. It was a pretty good mess. I just laughed and told him not to turn his back for even 30 seconds with her. I think that drawer needs a child lock??
