Proud Owner

Parker has been saving his money for over two months now and has officially spent it all. On what you may ask?? An air soft gun. I was a little hesitant, but Jeff wants him to know the safety involved in guns and how to use one and so this was perfect. He LOVES it!! It is all he can talk about. He made himself a little target and if he makes it they go right into the bucket. He actually has pretty good aim. Bonus for him, then he won't have to buy more ammo. I am sure the day will come that he is begging for more.

"Pink, Pink!!!"

Addison has turned into such a little girl recently. Everything has to be pink. Every bow that goes in her hair, every time she picks her snack bowl, her clothes and pretty much everything else she chooses. It is quite funny and annoying at the same time. One thing that is so cute is that she got an apron from my mom for Christmas. My mom must have been inspired because it is pink. Every time we ask her if she wants to help cook she runs into the kitchen and starts yelling, "Pink, Pink" She is talking about the apron. Here is a cute picture I took of her wearing it the other day.

Also the other day we went to get the kids new shoes....this was the first one she chose. They are quite cute, but so girly. They were the first ones she picked out. We tried them on her and she was ready to walk out the door. She didn't care that the security tag was still on. Who cares that I am making that loud noise mom, I have cute shoes on. And they light up when I walk.

Also now whenever we talk about the baby she tells me how it needs to wear pink. She is so funny. Our little girl is growing up!!

Christmas Day

We had a great Christmas. The kids slpet in (they don't do that often) and there was not much whining all day (always a plus) and we sat around and enjoyed the day. We talked with family on the phone and skype and I even got in a nap. And the make the nap even better, the kids did not even try to wake me up. I have already scrapped the day and so it will make it much easier if I just post that. Enjoy!!! If you want to read the journaling you can click on the image to make it larger.)

Cookies for Santa

Parker was a little skeptic at making these cookies, but in the end he LOVED it. He said that he wanted to make these kind all the time.

The next morning he was banned from the sprinkles though. He got up early and frosted some more cookies. He used half of my sprinkles. And I had 8 different kinds. And he did that on only 4 cookies.....yep 4. I wish I would have taken a picture of that. He told me that Santa would love them (You should have seen Jeff's face)....anyone want to ask "Santa" how he liked them??
