Addison's Pajamas

I told her to go and get her pajamas on...this is what she came back in...Parker's pajama shorts and a hockey jersey....LOVE IT!!!

These photos of Kate were taken at the hospital an I just love them. I got them in the mail recently and wanted to share.

I goofed around in photoshop and made this cute little announcement.

I also had photos taken of her by a professional photographer and those are coming soon and are so precious. She looks so different already, it amazes me how much she grows and quickly she changes. And I swear with the third one it is going by even faster.

Surprise!!!

So Friday after Parker's birthday we had planned to go to Mr. Gatti's. Parker had planned this months in advance. We thought it would be a fun family outing. What Parker didn't know was that he had a big surprise coming for his birthday and it came that day.

The night before after the kids went to bed I went to the airport and picked up Grandma....they had no idea she was coming to visit. Parker had asked several times when she was going to come and visit. So that night she came in quietly and then the next morning stayed hidden until we explained to Parker that his birthday present from Grandma had arrived. I then went to the other room and got Grandma. He was so surprised. He was also very excited. He was full of smiles for quite a while.



So that night we went over to Mr. Gatti's. We had never been before and were surprised with how much there was to do. Addison's favorite part was the carousel. Parker loved getting tickets. They both got some great prizes and enjoyed spending time with Grandma. Parker also loved the bumper cars. It was a fun time!! Parker got two birthday parties and he loved that.



This was the game of choice, we got so many tickets on this one, but we never got the jackpot, we came so close so many times.



While Grandma was here we had a great time. We had a girls afternoon out and went shopping. Addison loved this and was spoiled rotten. She enjoyed Grandma so much!!!It was nice spending time with my mom and catching up. We had not seen each other for 18 months. Way too long!! We went to lunch, the park, hung out at home, and watched movies. Her visit was short but she got to see the kids and meet the new addition.



Thanks mom for visiting and making it a fun surprise for the kids. They enjoyed every minute of it.

Happy Birthday Parker

Alright so I am way behind on blogging....only a month...so this is way old. My little baby is not a little baby anymore. Seven years has gone by so quickly. Parker counted down the days to his birthday. And he knew exactly what he wanted to do. We had other plans for him. On his actual birthday we took him ice skating. He has been wanting to go for a long time. He really wants to play hockey and we thought the first step is learning to skate. He had so much fun!! Jeff stayed with the girls and I skated with him.



As you can see, we are both pros....what can I say, I have only been 3 other times. We had a good time. That is the first exercise I had for months and it had only been a month since I had Kate and so I was tired.

Afterwards we took the kids to Golden Corral...what is not to love about cotton candy and a chocolate fountain.




The highlight of the day....FINALLY getting the Wii game he has been wanting.


More of his birthday to come, he has a BIG surprise coming toward the end of the week.
