Welcome to the family...

Ever since Parker was little he has loved animals. As he has gotten older it has been tamed a little, but he still enjoys them. I always knew that he would bring home all the lost puppies and reptiles and I was right. He was out riding his bike and he brings in a turtle that was in his helmet. He says he has no idea how it got there. yeah, right?? He has insisted on keeping it, so we now have a turtle. He loves it! Addison calls it, my turtle. They have been having fun with it and it stays outside, so why not. They have been pretty good about putting out food for it and have been better than I thought they would. They have brought it in the house once and they did not like the consequences and so it has never happened since.

Look closely

Our little Kate is getting so big!! She is nearly 6 months old. Boy how time flies. She is such a good baby. I don't want to brag but she sleeps 12 hours EVERY night. And I cannot give anyone any advice on how to do it. She just does it. She has the cutest little laugh. She LOVES vegetable. She HATES fruit!! I have tried pears and peaches and nothing, she gags on it and spits it out. I am fine with that, veges are good for her. She is rolling all over the the place and the other day I found her on her hands and knees. Before we know it, she is going to be mobile. She is very much spoiled by her siblings. They adore her so much. And she loves to watch them. She does have a soft spot for Parker. Not sure what it is, but it is cute to watch. If you ask Jeff, She loves to watch football. And best of all....if you look closely in the photo, she has hair!!! I was looking at photos of Addison at this age and she was completely bald, but not our little Kate, it is so fun to see her little hair.

"Its for my nails mom"

Addison loves to paint and I did not think of anything of it and she was there forever....and I found out why. All she told me was, "Mom, its for my nails!" I just smiled and helped wash it off. I would have to say though, she did a great job for a 3 year old. And she was so proud after she was done.(of course I let her finish!!)

Big Birthday Girl

Addison turned 3 a few weeks back. I cannot believe how big she is getting. She is such a joy. It is fun to see her personality develop more as she gets older. We love having her as a part of our family. She has been talking about her birthday all summer long and so it was a special day when it was finally here. I always let the kids choose what they want for treats on their birthday. Up to now they have chosen cake but this year the only thing that Addison wanted was Hello Kitty sugar cookies and pink ice-cream. So that is what she got. She was so cute. She helped every step of the way and LOVED every minute of it. I made her a HUGE cookie to put a candle on and she loved that. The entire day she sang to herself, "Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday" in her own little tune. I got a video of it, I am still trying to get it off my phone and put it on the web for everyone to see, I still giggle when I watch it. It is adorable!! Now she knows that Kate's birthday is next and she has already started singing to her.





For her birthday she got a whole dress up closet. It was exactly what she wanted. With a little help from Grandma she got the shoes too. Thanks Grandma, they are her most favorite part. She wanted to sleep with them. She for sure takes after Grandma!!
