Who doesn't love a cupcake, right??? I took the kiddos and they LOVED it!!! I just love Gigi's cupcakes....and apparently so do they. They had never been before. I could not even get them to look at me long enough to pose for a picture. Who needs mom though when you have a giant cupcake in front of you, right??
I had already scrapped the page so this is all your going to get for pics....sorry Nana and Grandma!! Remember you can click on the pic to make it bigger.

I may be rubbing off
I LOVE cereal!! I could eat it everyday for every meal. Jeff on the other hand hates it. Well hate is a strong word but he does ask me not to buy it. I don't have it all the time. Like right now we are out and I am sad. Well I guess I am rubbing off on my kids. If we have it, that is all the kids want to eat.
While I am talking about cereal.....let me tell you about the my favorite cereal ever. I LOVE Cracklin Oat Bran. It never goes on sale and is like $4.50 a box and so I hardly ever buy it but when I do it disappears quickly. I have always wondered though.....why does it look like cat food?? Don't you think it does??

quiet toddler means trouble
I thought that Addison was taking a nap.....nope....this is what she was doing.
She must have tried to get it off and just kept rubbing and rubbing. It was a nightmare to get off of her and the carpet. And the poor things eyes were swollen and red. I felt so bad for her.
Note to self: Don't leave diaper creme on the changing table.

Blast from the Past!!
Happy Birthday to my wonderful hubby today. He is finally the big 30....woo hoo!! I have been planning to do a big surprise party for the big day. Since he was born in 1980 and is turning 30 it was only appropriate to do an 80's themed party. I had so much fun planning it and without my good friend Camilla I never could have pulled it off. Thanks Camilla!!!
The night started off with Jeff being kidnapped by a few friends, blindfolded and driven around for 20 minutes. I played dumb and acted like I did not know what was going on. What he didn't know was that the second he left I had a sitter come over and watch the kids and I dressed in my 80's outfit and off I went to the party. They brought him over about 5 minutes after I got there and we took off the blindfold and I am happy to say that he was completely surprised. I was afraid that he thought something was up because random things like Garbage Pail Kids would show up in the mail and he would ask me with a weird face if I ordered those?? Or someone brought over some cassette tapes and he was wondering why I needed those....luckily he had no clue. yay!!!
Once he got there the party began. There were no kids and so we sat around and played some games and had a great time. I am so glad that everyone came and helped Jeff celebrate and that they were willing to dig through their closets and find those 80s clothes.
Camilla's husband Cory played Jeff a song about the story of his life to 80s music....hilarious!!! Jeff is not a big fan of music and had only heard some of the music though. What he thought was funny was that we all knew the songs and were singing along.
The party planners
Like the cheesy cake I found...I thought it was perfect for the theme.
Who doesn't love poprocks??
`
Don't you just love all that 80s stuff. It was fun to collect all that stuff.
Like the puff paint shirt??? Oh yes and the head band?? We made Jeff put this on once he got there.
Here are our wonderful guests....thanks everyone for coming!! We had a blast!!!
Now that we are home the kids have adopted all the goodies. Parker has been wearing the slap bracelets since and Addison claimed these as hers. She LOVES them!!!
Happy Birthday Jeff!!!

fighting
I have the hardest time with this little thing. If she has a nap then she won't go to bed until after 10 pm and if I keep her up she will go to bed on time about half the time. Some days though she will not take naps. This was the result of a day of fighting. This had to have been more comfortable than her bed, right??

Play dough time
I have to start by saying that I HATE play dough. It makes a mess and it smells...have you ever smelled that stuff?? I do have to say though that Addison LOVES it. It keeps her busy for the longest time. I should really be happy about it because I can make dinner and know that she is sitting there at the kitchen table happy as can be. I should just get used to it and live with the mess and smell of play dough.

My baby is getting big
Parker is growing up too fast. He has had a lose tooth for the longest time and he finally wiggled the thing so that it was hanging there. I did not even have to pull to get the thing it it practically fell out. He was so excited to have his tooth gone because now it doesn't hurt and also now the tooth fairy could come visit. The little bum would not smile for me though. I wanted that famous toothless smile, oh well!!! I just can't believe that time is flying by so fast....I am starting to feel old!!!

Boo Boo
Addison unfortunately got her finger shut in the door on Sunday, no names will be named, Parker, who did it, but it was pretty bad. I was not home I was at a meeting and I came home and she was so darn cute and just kept saying boo boo and showing me her band-aid. And the way that she says boo boo is so darn cute. I know it really hurt because every 15 minutes or so she would remind you of it. I was surprised that she kept that band-aid on the whole day.

Summer is driving me crazy!!!
Summer is driving me crazy!! Plus it has been raining and so that means that the kids are indoors for most of the day and they are driving me crazy!! So today I took the kids to our "very large" childrens museum. The kids always have fun but it really is not the best museum. They try and it is better than nothing, but the kids get so bored after about a half hour. Today was the first time I had ever taken Addison and she LOVED it....she was adorable!!! She loved the kitchen. She would empty the fridge and then put everything back in. She also loved the little boat and the music. She was dancing to the music and was cracking everyone up. Parker really enjoyed the mini golf area. (There is a part of the museum that they change themes with 3-4 times a year and today just happen to have some mini golf, thank goodness) He was entertained longer than I thought he would be. I think he was more excited about his little friend that was there with him.
I am hoping that the rest of the summer it does not rain and that we can get out more often....otherwise we may have two less children in our family.
