So we finally made it to Sea World. This was our third attempt. Jeff's
back has acted up in the past a few days before and he ended up in bed
and not doing much. But we finally made it. The kids were so excited. We went for only a few hours two days in a row. We were not sure how Jeff's back was going to do and Kate. She does not like her stroller and so that concerned us. But she ended up doing AMAZING!! She loved watching the shows. Not sure if that had anything to do with her being out of her stroller or not, but she liked them. Jeff was a little sore after just a few hours, so glad that he was able to go. He was a good sport and hung with Kate while I went on the rides with the kids.
The kids were so excited to finally be here. Parker was running circles in the parking lot.
Addison rode her first roller coaster. She said she loved it, but she had a frown on her face the whole time.
This was their favorite part. They got to feed the Sea Lions. They thought that was fun.
This was everyone's favorite show. Who doesn't love Shamu. We even stayed later the second day for a different Shamu Rocks show and we all still liked the other one better.
The kids collected smashed pennies throughout the park. It was fun to watch them spot the machines. By the end of the day Addison could do it all by herself. She was so proud of herself. Now they can add them to their other ones they have at home from other places we have visited.
Parker rode his very first BIG rollercoaster. He was so excited. It was all he could talk about. So much so that we finally gave in and let him ride it. The one he really wanted to ride he was 1/2 inch too short to for and that bummed him out. But this one I think made up for it. He was pretty excited and then the ride started and then as we were going down our first hill these were his exact words "Roller Coasters are kind of fun!" It was so funny. He was so scared that I was laughing at him. But now it is all he can talk about and it already talking about next time. Stay tuned for San Antonio Day 2...more Sea World and a trip to the Alamo and the Riverwalk.
